BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist
Online CBT therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions β from a specialist with over 15 years in mental health.
About me
I'm Jenna Schofield, a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist based in Mexborough, South Yorkshire. I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in unhelpful patterns β often during times of change such as pregnancy, early parenthood, or other major life transitions.
I have a particular passion for supporting people who want to do things differently β to better understand themselves, break generational patterns, and create healthier ways of coping, relating, and parenting. This is an area that feels especially meaningful to me, both professionally and through my own life experience.
Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you've been coping on your own for a long time. You're not expected to have everything figured out before you start.
What I help with
I work with adults experiencing a range of difficulties. Here are the areas where I have particular depth of training and experience.
Including generalised anxiety (excessive worry), social anxiety, health anxiety, panic disorder, phobias, and OCD. CBT has a strong evidence base for anxiety conditions.
Low mood, loss of motivation, persistent sadness, and the feeling of being disconnected from life. We work together to identify and shift the patterns maintaining depression.
Using trauma-focused CBT approaches for those affected by traumatic experiences, including complex trauma, PTSD, and the long-term impact of difficult life events.
Specialist support during pregnancy and the postnatal period. I work with anxiety, depression, birth trauma, and the enormous adjustment that becoming a parent brings.
Major life changes can unsettle even the most resilient people. I support clients navigating parenthood, relationship changes, and breaking generational patterns.
Negative core beliefs about ourselves often sit at the heart of many difficulties. We work on developing a healthier, more compassionate relationship with yourself.
